Research
Institute on Livestock Pricing Publications
Dr. Wayne Purcell founded and secured
funding for the Research Institute on Livestock Pricing at
Virginia Tech from 1986 until his retirement in late 2005. The
Institute helped fund research at a number of Land Grant
Universities, conducted national conferences on economic issues
of importance, and
increased
the level of knowledge about many of the issues in which NAIBER
is
interested.
